The Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) announced the organization of a training session titled “The Successful Electoral Programme” from 24 to 25 April.
This training course comes in the context of the plan the BIPD intends to implement during the current year as the parties concerned - candidates of political associations and independent candidates - are preparing to run for the 2010 parliamentary elections.
In this regard, the BIPD Executive Director Dr. Issa Ahmed Al Khayat confirmed that the Institute has addressed the political associations, inviting them to nominate the members they deem appropriate to join the session which will be provided by Dr. Ali Eddin Hilal from the Republic of Egypt, the former dean of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Hilal is highly experienced in presenting training courses of this kind in addition to his traditional academic career path in the field of preparation and qualification of the parties involved in the political process.
Dr. Khayat noted that by organizing this session the BIPD aims to qualify candidates to formulate a thoughtful scientific electoral program, which will certainly help voters choose between candidates on the basis of election programmes.
